Our Collectors’ Auction (which runs through 2nd & 3rd September) highlights the fact that collections don’t need to be vintage or antique to hold value. Auctioneer, David Hunter will be selling a collection of Games Workshop War Hammer books, figures, and fantasy games.

These contemporary lots show that when demand outstrips supply, the value of the item rises significantly. The hard-to-find leather-bound volume, Horus Heresy, Book Six, Retribution by Alan Bligh, is expected to sell for £200-£300, with the whole collection estimated in the low thousands.
