Viewing items before buying
We’re pleased to let you know that in-person viewing is now permitted (from Tuesday 13th April 2021).
Here’s how it works:
– Viewing slots will be allocated by appointment only.
– They’re available Tuesday to Friday, from 10am to 4pm.
– Please call 015395 66201 to secure a spot and confirm which auctions you wish to view.
– If you want to view while collecting lots please book a slot.
– Please do attend as planned or let us know if you can’t make it so that we can let others who may be waiting use the appointment
This system will allow us to keep you, our team and our local community safe. Numbers will be limited in each saleroom to allow for social distancing. Please do sanitise your hands and wear a mask in and around our buildings (unless you are exempt).

Telephone, absentee and online bidding
There are a number of ways you can bid with us.
Absentee bids (commonly known as commission, or ‘on the book’, bids) can be taken ahead of auctions. We will then act as your representative and try to secure the item at the lowest possible price. Please call 015395 66201 to leave a commission bid, or there’s a quick form to complete at reception if you are viewing with us.
Online bidding is now available for all our auctions via The Saleroom. This service means you can join the sale from anywhere you wish. You can also leave online bids during the auction via their auto-bid function. The software acts as your representative to try and secure the item at the lowest possible price.
The buyers’ commission is 20% including VAT (additional charges apply to online bids).
