Tackling a house full of furniture and possessions can be daunting but you’ve come to the right place for help.

We offer a professional, friendly and thoughtful house clearance service in partnership with trusted local, removal firms.

Together we’ve been providing a seamless service for customers over the last 20 years.

We understand that dealing with the disposal of the contents of a house can be stressful and overwhelming. For some, it’s the sheer size, responsibility and physical aspect of the task, for others it’s the difficulty in saying goodbye to a houseful of memories. And for others it can be about needing help with a clear out, to make room for new things.

Whatever your reason for calling us in, you can rely on us to treat the task with respect and care. You’ll get advice on what can be re-routed to charity, refurbished, recycled and which items are valuable and can be put up for sale through our auctions. Our aim is to get the least number of items in landfill and to make it as stress-free as possible for you.

If you’re not local we can also clear a property, as long as we can get access to it. No job is too small or too large, some clearances can take days, others can take an hour or two. It can be a full house clearance, a partial clearance or just one or two bulky items you need help with.

When it comes to paying for the service, we often find that’s covered if items are suitable for entry into our popular weekly Antiques, Vintage & Collectables auction or our Antique, Vintage and Later Furniture auctions, or one of our multitude of specialist auctions.

Here’s an example of one family we helped out when they called to say they wanted their late father’s property clearing urgently:

They were worried that the house was quite untidy, but we reassured them it wasn’t a problem and that we could take care of everything. Their other worry was about payment. We said we could liaise directly with their solicitor and that it was likely the costs could be covered by items sold at auction.

Within 48 hours, our house clearance partners were in touch with the family and a few days later the property had been cleared. Many of the items went to their chosen charity and, to their surprise and delight, we discovered two old toy trains in the garage which sold for £7,500 in one of our specialist auctions.
