UK Based Saleroom & Online Antique Auctions

Every other month, our main saleroom is filled with over 1,000 lots of high-quality antiques and specialist collectables. Alongside the big hitters in each section, this is also the place to discover unique curiosities that you’re unlikely to find anywhere else.

The moment we receive goods from our sellers, our valuers and auctioneers handpick any items that really stand out. They are set aside, curated and catalogued, shared with an international market of buyers, and then sold over two days at the beginning of February, April, June, August, October or December.

Our Two Day Specialist Auctions include the following specialist sections: Silver & Jewellery; Ceramics & China; Curios & Objets D’Art; Textiles & Vintage Clothing; Furniture & Furnishings.

You could discover a collection of rare postcards, a Regency window seat, high-quality ceramics from Shelley to Moorcroft, antique silver candlesticks, a string of amber beads or an Art Deco diamond ring, vintage linens, military uniforms, rare whisky, and paintings by local artists capturing the stunning Lake District landscape.

Estimates are higher than our weekly auctions due to the calibre of the entries, but they range from £50 to thousands of pounds so there’s usually something to suit every budget. As with all of our auctions, our friendly team is on hand for advice and help.

Due to the size and quality of these auctions, extended viewings are held on the preceding Friday afternoons between 1pm and 4pm and Saturday mornings between 10am and 2.30pm, which means you can combine browsing with brunch at our on-site café, Café Ambio. You can also view on the mornings of the auction from 8.30am - before one of our auctioneers takes to the rostrum for the 10am start.
