There are some larger job lots in this auction, which we think will be ideal for shops or online dealers, alongside some nice tour t-shirts (Queen and Eric Clapton amongst them). Some interesting classical albums are also up for grabs as well as an original gramophone and some nice hi-fi items.
Lot 643 – a Rolling Stones Bootleg album, ‘Bedspring Symphony’ recorded on their 1973 European Tour
Lot 652 – a rare Canadian pressing of the Joe Meek produced ‘Telstar’ album by the Tornadoes
Lot 648 – a nice lot of rare folk long-players rock with John Renbourn, the Incredible String Band, and a copy of Van Morrison’s classic Astral Weeks album
Lot 716 – Beatles Ltd, an interesting Beatles fan booklet which contains some lesser-seen photos
Lot 720 – Dio, Live BBC recordings, long-deleted and sought-after double vinyl
Lots 734/735 – Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon and Wing’s Venus and Mars, early pressings with original posters in excellent condition
Lot 705 – a real oddity this one, a recording of Elgar’s voice from the HMV archive on reel tape, recorded in 1969 for Radio 4
Lot 692 – Beatles collector’s car set, comes with some Beatles-related paraphernalia, including programmes and magazines
